The intense purple eye offers the aura of dreams as purple is a colour highly linked to dreams. The shape of the eye is to be exaggerated into a feminine, organic rounded shape, which will compliment the nude pink colour on the lips. I was not keen to apply another bright colour to the lips, as this may run the risk of the make-up being too colourful, not meeting the overall naturalistic idea of the shoot.
